The Food System Resilience Program is Launching a Matching Grant Program for Agribusiness engaged in the Rice, Cassava, and Rice Value Chains on the 11th April 2024 at Radisson Blu Hotel.
One of the major challenges faced by the agriculture sector is the access to finance. Over the years, local agricultural entities, especially private sector led, have been grappling with the problem of limited access to finance. This situation have impeded major part of their operations, which negatively impact on their outputs with a ripple effect on the food security situation of the country.
The Food System Resilience Program contributes to change this narrative by invigorating private sector delivery through matching grant arrangements in three key value chains (rice, cassava, and Livestock).
