Recently, the program M&E Unit worked with an external Monitoring and Evaluation Expert to develop a comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation Plan for the program, which serves as a guide for the M&E functions during program implementation and management and ensures that the Food System Resilience Program – Sierra Leone (FSRP-SL) management staff, the FSRP National Steering Committee, program implementing partners, Government partners, and other relevant stakeholders understand the progress being made towards the achievement of program objectives and results.

The plan articulates the following:

•     Communicate the data flow and the reporting schedule for the program with respective roles and responsibilities.

•     Communicate the program indicators and related approaches and tools.

•     Share the detailed monitoring plan and evaluation plan with all partners FSRP staff.

•     Share the established knowledge management system of the program with partners and FSRP staff and create partner level accounts for the program’s data collection solution where needed.
